This role is responsible for managing repair orders, communicating service recommendations, and ensuring an efficient and positive customer experience from start to finish. **Responsibilities:** * Greet customers in person and over the phone, listen to their concerns, and gather vehicle information * Create detailed repair orders and communicate repair recommendations clearly and professionally * Provide accurate estimates for labor and parts * Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and accurate repairs * Keep customers updated on the status of their vehicles * Handle warranty claims and insurance-related paperwork when applicable * Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used * Help manage shop workflow and schedule service appointments effectively * Uphold a high level of customer satisfaction and follow up on service experiences **Qualifications:** * Minimum 2 years of experience as a service writer or service advisor in an automotive repair environment * Strong knowledge of automotive systems, maintenance schedules, and repair procedures * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to explain technical information in a clear and professional manner * Strong organizational and time management skills * Proficiency with shop management software and basic computer skills * Must be dependable, customer-focused, and detail-oriented * Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required **What We Offer:** * Competitive pay based on experience * Opportunity to work with experienced technicians and a loyal customer base * Full-time position with growth potential
