Pioneer Design Group, PDG, has an immediate opening for a Surveying Technician to join our Company. This is an entry level position that will fill a need we have on a field survey crew. PDG is a team-oriented environment where collaboration is encouraged and supported. We are looking to add to our group with a responsible person that does not necessarily need to possess knowledge or expertise but has an interest in surveying. PDG provides services on a broad range of projects including residential subdivisions, commercial, industrial and mixed-use developments. PDG is a multi-disciplined firm specializing in civil engineering, surveying, planning, landscape architecture and development services. We have an established client base including land owners, real-estate developers, architects, government agencies and public service providers, among others. Required Experience: • Willing and able to work outdoors in inclement weather year around. • Capable of packing up to 30 lbs. in equipment and supplies. • Dependable and punctual. • Valid driver license and good driving record. Duties and Responsibilities: • Work as technician on a survey field crew supporting a crew chief to complete assigned field work. • Ability to work efficiently within a team, and follow directions from crew chief. This position is a great opportunity for the candidate that has an interest in surveying but may not currently possess any experience. On the job training will allow the candidate to increase their knowledge and expertise and advance to higher levels within our company.
