Legion Solutions is seeking an entry-level laborer / runner to be based out of our Martinez, CA office to complement our Corrosion Engineering and Integrity Management Team. Working experience in cathodic protection, coating inspection, pipeline inspection, mechanic, etc. is a plus but not required – compensation will be considered based on experience. Job Description and Duties • Drive to and from job sites to pick up/deliver materials with a pick-up truck and a trailer, as needed • Forklift operation experience preferred • Maintain equipment and work vehicles when not in service • Assess issues and problems in the field and respond accordingly under the direction of senior engineers and/or supervisor • Maintain client relationships with the goal of meeting customer expectations • Assist team members in testing and assessing cathodic protection systems • Gather field data including but not limited to structure-to-soil potentials, soil resistivity, continuity, rectifier output, anode output, etc. • Operate equipment such as rectifiers, insulation flange tester, pipe locator, portable current source, field computer, etc. • Tabulate and organize field data • Assist Office Manager and other team members processing data on a computer using MS-Word and Excel. • Work in compliance with technical, safety and compliance procedures and guidelines Minimum Qualifications • High-school diploma or greater • Must be able to prioritize tasks efficiently and effectively under time constraints. • Ability to tailor communications to everyone from the Janitor to managers/supervisors. • Exhibit great attention to details. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel. • Willingness to develop skills and certifications through applicable industry organizations, such as NACE International. • Must be able to qualify for and maintain Operator Qualification (OQ) standards. Working Environment / Physical Demands • Travel will be a requirement. • Ability to drive off-road or a willingness to learn. • Some work will be in the field and remote wilderness locations. • You may be frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, reach, climb and bend. • This position requires the ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. • Must be able to pass a "Fit for Duty" physical and drug screening. Warehouse Worker/Egg Processor Schedule: M-F 6:00am-3:00pm, occasional overtime and Saturdays Payrate: $16/hr. Job Description: Identify and pack quality eggs. Inspect eggs for quality stamps, make boxes, label cartons and cases as assigned. Ability to read and interpret documents such as company policies, safety rules, product labels, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Job Functions: Multi-task Prepare eggs for delivery to various locations Work to package items Pack cartons and flats of eggs in proper packaging materials Be able to detect and determine different egg sizes and packaging materials to eliminate mixing Be able to identify dates and labels for the product run Distinguish between good and bad eggs as well as product Perform other duties as directed by management Capable of standing, bending, turning, and/or walking for 8-12 hours per day.
