Description

We are seeking a full time, eager " Industrial Wire Rope Assembler" to join our team. This role is hands-on, involving the preparation of industrial/ heavy duty wired ropes used in lifting, rigging, and hoisting applications. We are not requiring direct experience and we will train someone who is motivated to learn and grow with our company! (This is not an electrical/mechanical, cable assembly role.) Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm Starting pay: $19.00 per hour. Weekly pay. Key Responsibilities of a Wire Rope Assembler: -Measure and possibly cut wire rope to required lengths. -Assemble/ attach fittings (like hooks, thimbles, shackles, and sockets) using mechanical or hydraulic swaging (pressing) machines. -Wrap wire rope around a pully wheel. -Inspect wire rope and hardware for defects. -Follow technical drawings or work orders to assemble wire rope slings and other lifting devices accurately. -Use of Tools and Machinery (We will train) -Ensure all completed assemblies meet safety, quality, and customer standards. -Assist with Inventory and Materials Handling. Skills and Requirements: -Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. -Ability to read and interpret measurements. -Ability to read a tape measure. -Comfort working with heavy equipment and materials. -Basic math skills. -Physical strength and stamina (Involves lifting, pulling, standing for long periods). -Must have a clear background. -Must have ability to commit to the work schedule.
