Performs service, repairs to Komatsu, Hitachi, and CAT excavators and all types of construction equipment. 2. Repair and replace clutches and all components of semi-truck drive train. 15. Welding exp. 16. Repairing of excavator hydraulics, cylinders, and different types of excavator attachments. 17. Engine swaps on semi-trucks, heavy equipment, and various types of construction equipment. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead Mechanic to manage 3-4 mechanics on staff. Decisions on processes, methods and work assignments are governed by defined procedures/instructions & Lead Mechanic. QUALIFICATIONS: Valid Driver’s License. Service truck will be provided for daily shift and to take home. Must have 7+ years experience as a heavy equipment field mechanic. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 7+ years experience in heavy truck equipment maintenance/repair and crew management experience. A completion of accredited vocational technical school program.
