The ideal candidate will work closely with the lead and operator onsite to ensure accurate and efficient utility installation per plans and specifications. Responsibilities  Install underground utilities, including storm, sewer, and water systems, per project plans and specifications.  Set grades, lay pipe, install bedding, and perform proper backfilling and compaction.  Ensure proper shoring and trench safety at all times in accordance with OSHA standards.  Work with inspectors to ensure compliance with municipal and project requirements.  Verify that all required materials and parts are onsite and organized.  Provide clear direction and communication to supporting crew members.  Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.  Accurately clock in and out of tasks daily using Work.  Perform additional duties as needed to support the crew and project success. Qualifications  2+ years of hands-on experience installing underground utilities in a construction environment.  Ability to read and interpret construction plans and city specifications.  Proficient in setting and checking grades.  Strong understanding of safe trenching and shoring practices.  Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
