General Responsibilities - Lead & Mentor: Train the maintenance team in fostering safety, accountability and team work. - Collaborate & Solve: Oversee daily maintenance and repair of hotel systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety equipment. - Drive Excellence: Spearhead the preventative maintenance program that ensures guest satisfaction and asset protection. - Troubleshoot: Resolve system malfunctions while ensuring compliance with OSHA and local regulations. - Partnerships: Work with vendors, contractors, and inspectors to ensure quality work and regulatory compliance. - Manage: Take charge of the maintenance budget, capital projects, and vendor contracts. - Roll Up Your Sleeves: Troubleshoot issues, resolve malfunctions, and jump in and work side by side with your team to get the job done right. What We’re Looking For - Previous Hotel or related field experience preferred - A proven hands on leader who communicates clearly and builds trust with their team. - Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and life safety systems. - 3+ years of maintenance management or supervisory experience. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other standard computer programs. - Flexibility to work a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays. I need somebody who is strong. Reliable respectable knows how to read the room. I’ve been doing this for 10 years so you will train with me to start. Starting pay is 20 per hour. You get gas money I’m looking for a team that can work well together and complete moving jobs together whether that somebody you work well with or somebody I provide you with it’s a very good way to make a living schedule, must be flexible. It’s just how the moving business is. You must be strong because you have to carry things up and down stairwells dressers. I would not ask anybody to do anything I couldn’t do myself. I just started in the area a week ago and I’ve already done 10 moves. I’m new to the area but plan on establishing myself quickly which I’ve already done once I have a second team we can take on more work. This is all about building together.
