This role will work closely with stakeholders to support reliability analytics across our network. This role will apply non-machine-learning analytical techniques to data, answer defined business questions and transform findings into actionable insights. This Technical PM will collaborate with management to scope problems, pull and analyze data, and deliver clear, compelling presentations to a variety of internal audiences. This is a long-term consulting engagement, and qualified candidates must be able to work in office in Denver, CO. Candidates that live outside of Denver metro area will not be considered for this role. This compensation range considers a wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. This is a long term consulting engagement with an estimated salary range of $130-140k. Expanding business currently looking for workers (part or full time, preferential consideration given to full) who are interested in getting paid to assist in the examination, testing, cosmetic grading & repair, when necessary, of consumer electronics such as video games accessories (controllers, headsets, racing wheels & more), video game consoles, and other assorted consumer electronics. The job does not require a significant amount of experience however preferable candidates will have a basic knowledge of how to work consumer electronics one might find in the home. The position will require identifying an item's functionality, denoting if there's a deficiency in this regard, determining if the item is missing accompanying accessories, and prospectively performing some light repairs (training will be provided). This is a ground floor position as there are significant growth opportunities possible (dedicated repair technician(s), senior inspection line management & more may become available in time). Position Overview: Collaborate with the project management team to plan, organize, and oversee construction projects from initiation to completion. The Security Engineering Manager will lead the evolution of our cybersecurity engineering, architecture, and operations. This role bridges strategic and tactical domains – collaborate cross-functionally with IT and business stakeholders, oversee enterprise security architecture (both Cloud and on-prem), manage security engineering team, and optimize security operations (including an outsourced SOC). This is a strategic role designed for a seasoned security expert with a proven ability to manage teams, architect complex solutions, and influence across departments. Although the location of the position is in Newton, NJ, from time to time it may be required to undertake duties at other Thorlabs locations. Essential Job Functions include the following, but are not limited to: Leadership & Strategy Serve as a strategic advisor to the IT leadership team on emerging threats, investment priorities, and security posture. Set and track KPIs, KRIs, OKRs, and metrics to ensure effectiveness and continuous improvement. Strong command of at least 3 of the following core security domains: IAM, SIEM, vulnerability management, network security, DevSecOps, and incident response. Experience leading or managing an outsourced SOC or MDR provider. Proven leadership in security engineering and operations in a hybrid (cloud/on-prem) environment. Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent work experience. Specialized Knowledge and Skills: Advanced degree (e.g., MS in Cybersecurity) is a plus. Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert, Azure Solutions Architect, or CEH. Experience with Microsoft Defender suite, Intune, Microsoft Sentinel, various IAM and Vulnerability Management Tools. Familiarity with security control frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK, CIS).
