Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology trends and best practices. Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in IT support, low-voltage cabling, or network infrastructure (preferred). Strong understanding of network architecture and system integration. Familiarity with tools such as Fluke testers, labeling systems, and patch panel setups. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites. Scout’s Network Engineer will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of the network infrastructure supporting our renewable energy power plants, remote operations center, and corporate office. This role requires technical expertise in multiprotocol networks, multilayer switches, next-generation firewalls, and central management systems.   Our network environment consists of Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Cisco networking devices, with WAN connectivity via IPSec tunnels and SD-WAN solutions. The ideal candidate will leverage automation and monitoring tools to maintain high availability and ensure SLAs are met. They should also be comfortable navigating change management processes and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust network solutions.  The Network Engineer will report to the Senior Manager, Information Technology and Cybersecurity.   Key Responsibilities  Oversee and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Cisco devices.
