Java On Ocean is a community-focused café located in the heart of Ingleside, at the corner of Faxon and Ocean Avenue. We’re looking for a friendly, reliable barista to join our team for both weekday and weekend shifts. If you love coffee, enjoy connecting with people, and thrive in a warm, welcoming environment, we’d love to hear from you! About You: You have barista experience and a genuine love for hospitality. You’re calm under pressure, enjoy working as part of a team, and are eager to keep learning. You’re dependable, detail-oriented, and take pride in your work. Responsibilities: Prepare and serve espresso drinks, drip coffee, teas, and other beverages. Support daily operations, including light food prep, cashiering, cleaning, and keeping the café organized. Follow all current health, food safety, and sanitation guidelines. Bring positive energy and enthusiasm to every shift. Multitask efficiently while maintaining a high standard of customer service. Availability: Weekend availability is required (Saturday, Sunday, or both). Must be available for early morning shifts. Flexibility during the week is a plus. Living nearby is a bonus!
