Starlight Performing Arts Center is expanding our School Programs in the Pleasant Hill, Concord, and Martinez area. We are looking for teachers with dance and/or musical theater experience who are available for a few classes (during school hours and after school programs) through the end of the year, but are available/interested in an expanded schedule starting January 2026.  Our school programs focus on preschool through elementary school aged children and teach basic intro to dance, cheer, jazz, hip hop, musical theatre, and more. You do not have to have a background in or experience teaching all the types of dance or musical theatre listed to apply. Please note that you will be traveling to schools, so you must have a reliable car and be able to pass a background check, get fingerprinted, and pass a TB test (if necessary). The assignment is expected to last at least twelve weeks prior to converting direct hire. The position reports onsite five days a week.
