Bakery Order Fulfillment (petaluma)
Hello!
We are a small gluten-free sourdough bread bakery prioritizing healthy whole grains and artisanal baking moving to Petaluma in January 2025. We have multiple positions available including bakery production and packaging/shipping fulfillment.
Below is a general description of the production position, the packaging position is very similar. Ideally candidates will be able to cross-train and support the areas in need. Flexibility is a major component to this job as well as punctuality and work ethic. We are a small yet passionate crew, and looking for like minded team members who work well together and independently. There is a lot of room for growth in this company.
Starting wage for production and packaging team is $18/hour with annual raises.

What is the position?
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented team member to support our order fulfillment operations. The main responsibilities include printing shipping labels, assembling boxes, and accurately packing bread into the correct customer orders.
Language & Accuracy:
Because accuracy is essential in this role, candidates must be able to read and speak English to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly.
Work Environment & Expectations:
The tasks can be repetitive and require strong attention to detail, organization, and consistency. At times, you may work independently or with one other team member, so excellent communication, flexibility, and reliability are crucial.
Growth Opportunities:
While the primary focus is fulfilling online customer orders, there will be opportunities to assist with baking.
Requirements:
Strong organizational skills
Clear communication
Ability to work independently and with others
Trustworthiness and attention to detail
English reading and speaking skills
References will be required to verify reliability, so please have them ready.
This position requires at least 15-20 hours of work per week: Monday-Thursday.
Starting wage is $19/hour
