This is a a full time one year contract for the 25/26 SY We offer a competitive pay rate of $60 per hour. This position involves providing specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs, particularly in mathematics, within a collaborative classroom environment. As a valued member of our team, you will: Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students Utilize innovative teaching strategies to engage students in mathematics Support students' academic and behavioral development Collaborate with general educators in a co-teaching model Monitor and assess student progress and adjust instruction as necessary Requirements Bachelor's degree in Special Education or Mathematics Education; Master's degree preferred State certification in Special Education license Experience teaching mathematics to middle school students, preferably with special needs Strong knowledge of effective teaching methodologies and assessment techniques Familiarity with behavioral support strategies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and parents Passion for teaching and commitment to student success Benefits Day shift Monday to Friday In person contract 1099 Competitive hourly role- Contract ($60/hour)

Position: Teacher of the Deaf Compensation: $70 per hour Boston Speech Therapy is seeking a qualified Teacher of the Deaf to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess the expertise to educate and support students who are deaf or hard of hearing, fostering an inclusive and effective learning environment. This position requires a commitment to providing specialized instruction tailored to meet the unique needs of each student. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for deaf and hard of hearing students. Utilize effective teaching strategies and methodologies to enhance student learning. Support the development of communication skills, including sign language and auditory skills. Collaborate with families, audiologists, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support. Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and modify approaches as needed. Create and maintain a positive learning environment that promotes student engagement and independence. Potentially work with students from PreK age up to 22 years of age. 17-20 per caseload. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Education of the Deaf or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Valid state certification in Teaching the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Experience teaching students who are deaf or hard of hearing. Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and knowledge of auditory-verbal techniques. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders. Commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
