Job Summary: Primary responsibilities are to set up, run trouble-shoot and lead the production/output of the company’s Digital Printing Equipment, and prepare printed products for distribution/shipping. Essential Job Functions: • Performs other job duties as assigned. • Digital Printing operators operate the digital press(s) on a specific shift, performing those duties in safe and effective operation of a Printing Press. • Reads instructions from the work order form and sets up the press (printer) in accordance to those instructions. • Performs, or knows how to perform and can/ and does instruct others to perform all duties related to the make-ready of a printer. • Performs or knows how to perform and can/ and does instruct others to perform certain preventive maintenance on printer(s) such as lubrication, replacement of small parts, replacement of rollers etc. Also works in conjunction with maintenance man to keep equipment in good running condition. • Keeps immediate work area neat and orderly. • Performs all tasks related to digital print production. • Knows capabilities of printer(s), type of fold, max number of colors, etc. • Responsible for always knowing the overall condition of printers. • Responsible for knowing always mix and obtain proper color match or sees to it that proper color is being used on the press per the specific job(s) being run and according to specifications. • Follows all QC procedures and adheres to and knows how to inspect job and meet acceptable quality standard according to specifications. • Must be able to stand for long periods of time. The normal shift for this position is a 12-hour shift, and the incumbent in this job must be able to stand for much of the 12-hour shift, tending to printer and related tasks and duties. • Due to the nature of our work and our reputation for service, employees are expected to stand ready to work overtime when requested. The work week is 35 - 50 hours per week. • Lifting is a requirement in this job. The incumbent in this job must be able to lift 20-25 pounds occasionally. Usual weight is 10-20 pounds (printed pages). • Performs other tasks as requested or required. Pay Range: $26 - $38/hour depending on experience, plus 10% for 2nd shift SUMMARY Responsible for utilizing advanced machining skills to produce high-quality components. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of machining processes, the ability to generate, read, and interpret complex drawings, and a strong capability in both manual and CNC machining, including programming and coding. Key Responsibilities: - Perform complex machining operations on various machines such as Haas Lathe, Feeler, G&L, Femco Vertical Mills, and Femco HBC with minimal or no supervision. - Demonstrate strong lathe experience and engage in prototype machining, research and development, and reverse engineering tasks. - Utilize both manual machines and CNC machines, and apply conversational programming and CNC coding skills. - Set up and adjust machine controls and offsets, and monitor operations to detect and resolve malfunctions. - Periodically inspect parts during runs and after completion to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications. - Perform preventative maintenance practices on machines - Process all paperwork in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures. - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment. - Monitor job costing to ensure machining remains within acceptable limits relative to estimates. - Lead and mentor team members, promoting a positive attitude and teamwork. - Read and understand complex machining blueprints, and write simple machining programs on various controllers. - Ensure familiarity with base machines and apply prior machining and programming knowledge effectively. Qualifications Required Education: HS Diploma, GED or equivalent. Minimum of 10 years of related machine shop experience and/or training equivalent. Required Experience: - Prior work history or knowledge of setting up and running CNC machines - Able to read and understand complex machining blueprints - Able to write simple machining programs on several different controllers Preferred Experience: - Sets-up and runs complex machining operations on the Haas Lathe, Feeler, G&L, Femco Vertical Mills, and Femco HBC - Observes machine operation to detect malfunctions, adjust machine controls, and offsets with minimal or no supervision. - Ability to do prototype machining, R&D, and reverse engineering - Experience with manual machines, CNC machines, conversational programming, and CNC coding

SUMMARY: This position creates difficult to very complex CNC Programs and setups for the CNC machine shop area according to the needs of the master production schedule. This is a full-time, 1st shift position. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Interfaces with Design Engineers and project managers to maintain current and best programming/machining practices Updates, revises and produces programs, tool lists and job set-up sheets for machine shop. Works closely with machine operators, fabrication personnel, project managers and other machine programmers to ensure that programs are made to run as smooth and efficiently as possible. Reads and interprets intermediate to complex drawing and blueprint packages. Independently evaluates requirements for complex jobs and generates CNC programs and cut lists for complex jobs for all Processing machines. Independently processes complete, complex job packages through planning and programming, while also demonstrating efficient use of labor and materials. Creates and edits ERP Structures and Routings. Utilizes Mastercam, CAD and other software to edit, draw, and design complex parts for programming. Provides post processes support Qualifications EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Degree or certification from college or technical school in the field of computer-aided design and drafting preferred At least 5 years' programming experience for CNC machines Must fully understand the process of machining. Programs written must make parts to print in a timely manner. Prior work history or knowledge of machining programming and “g-code” is crucial to understanding how to program. Ability to “hand program” on the machine itself to help operators. Must be familiar with FANUC base machines, Haas controls and Heidenhain control programming. SKILLS and ABILITIES: The ability to generate, read, and interpret drawings. One must have the fundamental knowledge and skills associated with machining. General knowledge of fabrication processes and welding is desired. One must possess strong computer knowledge and be familiar with standard desktop software including GlobalShop ERP, AutoCad, and be extremely proficient in MasterCam 2026. One must be able to create drawings using blueprints to program from, create programs using IGES files and solid models, and know how to select the proper cutting tools for the part and/or material to be cut.
