Mechanic / Handyman / Carpenter (Tacoma)

Job Purpose Assist the Production department in maintaining quality standards and efficient production. Key Responsibilities ● Manage and update monthly production schedules, adjusting as needed to meet deadlines and production goals. ● Support team leaders and the Production Supervisor in maintaining high product quality. ● Communicate scheduling updates and changes to the Production Supervisor, team leaders, and other relevant departments. ● Accurately complete required documentation and assist with lot numbering processes. ● Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, and help team members with general production tasks. ● Verify material status in Deacom and request material releases ● Partner with Quality Department to print batch records timely to align with production schedule ● Participate in weekly production meetings with NJ Team ● Track production supplies inventory and replenish as necessary ● Partner with Sanitation Department to assure cleaning room supplies are fully stocked ● Work with Shipping Department to track finished goods inventory and send to NJ ● Show a willingness to learn, take on new responsibilities, and grow within the role. ● Complete all required training activities in a timely manner. ● Maintain regular, on-site attendance, act reliably, and follow through on assigned tasks ● Other duties/projects as assigned, including tasks outside the scope of the primary responsibilities as needed, based on the needs of the organization. Looking for a mechanic / service technician to service and repair sheet metal manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to: rollformers, press brakes, presses, shears, forklifts, minor electrical, other misc equipment. Welding experience would be a benefit.
