Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain software systems for embedded network devices. Design and integrate network solutions into overall architecture and hardware design across multiple platforms Responsible for device driver development and maintenance, such as Flash, Wi-Fi, wired network etc. Design and development of features in the area of L2/Bridging/L3/Routing for the network devices. Implement, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve manufacturing processes, including maintaining flow charts, develop manufacture software, identify and fix issues, and make improvements and so on.  Work closely with hardware team to deliver high quality products. ·Responsible for design and development review of software systems. Responsible for identifying and fixing bugs prior to software release. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Implement software features of high quality and on schedule. Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and QA engineers, to deliver unparalleled user experiences. Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Conduct meticulous code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers, ensuring strict adherence to coding standards and industry best practices. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of related experience. Proficiency in embedded software programming skills with C/C++ language. Experience with embedded Linux kernel and application development. Experience with audio/video encoding, motor controls software development. Proficiency in ONVIF, RTCP, RTSP application development. Knowledge of network technology including NAT, TCP, UDP, IPv4, IPv6, HTTP etc. Experience in analyzing crash logs, stack trace, faults by utilizing basic debugging techniques Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Highly motivated, positive, detail oriented and responsible. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with designing and delivering storage software modules. The storage device may be a TF card, hard disk (SSD/HDD/HHD), NAS, and so on. Deep knowledge of Linux kernel internals (process scheduler, concurrency, synchronization, memory allocation, file systems). Knowledge of wireless communication protocols, e.g. 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be. Fun! Fun! Fun! At the Farm What could be more fun than being a tour guide for school kids at an old-fashioned pumpkin farm? Do you remember how fun the pumpkin farm was when you were a child? Well, here is your opportunity to experience the fun once again, while sharing the joy with children. Part-time and fulltime positions are available starting September 24th - October 31st. You will be guiding groups of school children throughout different aspects of the farm. We prefer those with paid experience working with and teaching children. We will teach you everything you need to know. But you must be comfortable speaking to large groups of children and grown-ups alike. The farm is owned and operated by a Sacramento area elementary school teacher. Weekday positions require you to work mornings starting no earlier than 8:45 am and end no later than 1:00 pm. There will be opportunity for some employees to stay and work in the retail locations until 6:00 pm after teaching the children. You must be able to work from mid-September through October 31st, Monday through Friday. The position will end on November 1. The ideal candidate is loud, outgoing and not afraid to laugh. We emphasize humor and fun while guiding your groups. You will be working outdoors and must enjoy all that comes with a farm. You will not have to interact with animals unless desired. This is an ideal situation for college students hoping to teach or work with children in the future, retirees, stay at home moms, or anyone that loves helping kids and the outdoors. Ensure product readiness for production by developing manufacturing tools, facilitating certifications, and providing on-site support as required. Requirements Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 2+years of experience working with embedded software. Proficiency in embedded software programming using C/C++, with a strong understanding of coding best practices. Familiarity with embedded operating systems (e.g., RTOS, Linux) and real-time system design. Experience with hardware interfaces such as UART, SPI, I2C, and GPIO. Experience with network and security protocols in embedded systems (e.g., HTTP, MQTT, TLS). Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
