Lodge at Marconi is seeking part-time restaurant servers with a minimum of 2 years fine dining experience. Familiarity with Aloha POS, wine knowledge and exceptional customer service skills are a must. We are looking for individuals with a great sense of hospitality and the ability to work well with others. A flexible schedule including mornings, lunch shifts, nights, holidays and weekends is required. Candidates must be punctual, reliable, detail oriented and able to thrive in a fast paced environment Responsibilities: • Taking food and beverages orders and ensuring that they are delivered to the table in a timely fashion • Provide great hospitality by going above and beyond for every guest • Explaining the menus to guests and accommodating their requests • Paying close attention to your tables to ensure that they are always taken care of • Delivering the bill and processing payment • Treating all guests with the utmost courtesy and respect • Assisting with closing and opening duties • Assisting with hotel and banquet operations as needed • Understand and proficiently use the POS system Qualifications: • Must be eligible to work in the USA • Food service experience preferred • Ability to learn and understand basic food practices Physical Requirements: • Must be able to work on your feet for up to 10 hours. Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting products and supplies weighing 20 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds as well as repetitive hand and wrist motion. Drogon AK provides staffing at large venues to assist in the smooth running of the event. We train. Alaska Airlines Center, Sullivan Arena, Dena'ina Center, Alaska Center for the Performing Arts, Egan Center and other smaller venues and events. Part-time work, as in 1-3 shifts per weekend ranging from 3 hours to 8 hours. Shifts are posted and you decide if you want to work them. We use Homebase as our scheduling software. UAA volleyball and Wolverine hockey are 2 or our big events. TAP or TiPS card ($65) is required within 30 days of the start of your employment. Crowd Manager training ($25) is required at the Sullivan Arena and Alaska Airlines Center. Uniform is all black with a black and blue polo that you will have to order online $25.
