Job Description and Duties • Drive to and from job sites to pick up/deliver materials with a pick-up truck and a trailer, as needed • Forklift operation experience preferred • Maintain equipment and work vehicles when not in service • Assess issues and problems in the field and respond accordingly under the direction of senior engineers and/or supervisor • Maintain client relationships with the goal of meeting customer expectations • Assist team members in testing and assessing cathodic protection systems • Gather field data including but not limited to structure-to-soil potentials, soil resistivity, continuity, rectifier output, anode output, etc. • Operate equipment such as rectifiers, insulation flange tester, pipe locator, portable current source, field computer, etc. • Tabulate and organize field data • Assist Office Manager and other team members processing data on a computer using MS-Word and Excel. • Work in compliance with technical, safety and compliance procedures and guidelines Minimum Qualifications • High-school diploma or greater • Must be able to prioritize tasks efficiently and effectively under time constraints. • Ability to tailor communications to everyone from the Janitor to managers/supervisors. • Exhibit great attention to details. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel. • Willingness to develop skills and certifications through applicable industry organizations, such as NACE International. • Must be able to qualify for and maintain Operator Qualification (OQ) standards.
