General Labor – Kitting Department Location: Vernon CA Pay Rate: $17.87 Schedule: Monday - Friday (some Saturdays) Job Summary: We are currently seeking reliable and detail-oriented Production Associates to join our Kitting Department. This role is responsible for assembling, organizing, and packaging various product components into kits according to specific instructions and quality standards. The ideal candidate has experience in a fast-paced production or warehouse environment and pays close attention to detail to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Assemble and package product kits according to work orders, instructions, or specifications. Verify that all components are present, labeled correctly, and meet quality requirements. Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in compliance with company and safety policies. Count, sort, and inspect materials to ensure accuracy before and after assembly. Work with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals. Report any missing materials, defects, or discrepancies to the lead or supervisor. Operate basic production and packaging equipment safely and efficiently. Assist with labeling, sealing, and preparing finished kits for shipment or storage. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality assurance guidelines. Qualifications: Previous experience in kitting, packaging, assembly, or production preferred. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25–50 lbs as needed. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Dependable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team. Basic math and counting skills. In collaboration with prevention program staff, the Medical Assistant – HIV/STD Counselor will work to identify HIV positive individuals who are part of our prevention programs and who are not yet linked to HIV medical care, including newly diagnosed individuals, persons who know their HIV status but have never been engaged in care, and others who know their status and have dropped out of care to access medical care services. The HIV-STD Counselor/Medical Assistant will perform administrative front office and clinical back office duties in the medical clinic, including submitting and tracking referrals, taking vital signs, preparing examining rooms, administering medications as ordered by a licensed healthcare provider, performing phlebotomy and other technical clinical functions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed.
