Description

We are currently seeking an Orthodontic Dental Assistant/ RDA for a part-time position that may lead to a full-time position. We are located in San Francisco and have been providing high quality, patient-focused orthodontic care in our community for 10 years. We are a small, fast-paced fun office, looking for a confident individual who has great communication skills, an excellent work ethic, and is a reliable team player. Work hours are from 7:45-5:15pm Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. This position performs a variety of dental assisting duties while promoting a safe and clean environment for quality care. These duties include, but are not limited to assisting the doctor, delivering supervised patient care, teaching patients how to care for their teeth, retainers and/or appliances and orthodontic record-taking. Applicant must understand back office procedures for orthodontics, including knowledge of orthodontic terminology, follow sterilization protocols (knowledge of OSHA and Infection control), and have knowledge of dental instruments and set-ups for orthodontics.  Clear aligner experience is a plus. 
Compensation range starts at $22.00/hour; TBD by experience.  Preferred qualifications:
• Current Registered Dental Assistant State License (RDA) ;
• Minimum 1 year orthodontic experience
• X-Ray License & CPR Certificate
