Trout Lily Market and Deli in Fairview is hiring! We're an independent natural food grocery store and deli focusing on healthy eco-friendly options. We'd like someone positive and conscientious to join our team as a deli prep assistant, cashier and to create grab and go options and baked goods for both Trout Lily Market and our sister store Round Earth Roasters. Food prep experience is a plus, but the new hire will ultimately be trained in all aspects of the store including the deli, grocery, front counter service and as a barista. Once fully trained and confident, closing solo the last hour or so will be required. Open availability is preferred with open weekends a requirement. Schedule would ideally be 2-3 shifts/week, 20-25 hours. Weekends required. No late nights or early mornings! The ideal candidate will be self motivated, responsible and a competent multitasker. A good attitude and reliable transportation are also necessities. Reliability is paramount. We're looking for a long term staff member, this is not a seasonal position. Food service or grocery experience is preferred but not required. We'll train the right person!
