Key Responsibilities Optical Sales Guide patients in selecting frames and lenses that match their prescription, style, and lifestyle Take precise measurements for proper fit and alignment Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and eyewear care Submit insurance claims and process lab orders accurately Adjust and repair eyewear confidently Pretesting / Technician Welcome patients and put them instantly at ease Perform pre-exam tests: autorefractor, tonometry, retinal imaging, visual fields Record results in our electronic health record (EHR) Front Desk Duties Prep exam rooms and keep equipment spotless and photo-ready What We’re Looking For Previous optical experience required. You would be an independent contractor (1099) working part time flexible hours, about 4 to 5 hours a day plus one Sunday every 6 weeks-this will be mandatory and important. $20.00 per hour to start. Experienced computer skills including simple spreadsheets and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace and light bookkeeping using Quickbooks with careful attention to details . Help us get our auctions up on the internet in a timely manor. You will be working with the owner setting up and organizing items to be auctioned. You will oversee day to day operations which include a variety of tasks. You will be entering items into our simple to use auction software where accuracy and good grammar and spelling are essential. You should be a person with a positive attitude and good communication skills; a person who enjoys interacting with clients with a pleasant phone/email demeanor. Knowledge of French would be a plus but not required. Social media tasks include sending marketing emails via Mailchimp, posting on Instagram and Facebook and website updates.
