Part time job with flexible, morning hours. If you enjoy driving and have a heart for bringing meals and a smile to area seniors and home bound clients come work with us. Meals on Wheels of Rockingham County is currently searching for a meal delivery driver in our Salem, NH location. Working hours are approximately 10 am - 1 pm, Monday - Friday. $12.60 per hour plus 70 cents per mile. 11 paid holidays off per year. Paid time off for vacation/sick day (accrued). Annual longevity bonuses. Optional employee paid insurance benefits include: Vision, Dental, Accident and Life Insurance. Physical aspects to the job - Ability to lift approximately 35 pounds, ability to bend, twist and reach, enter and exit a vehicle multiple times in a shift, and navigate stairs during daily shift. Drivers will also have to stand for 30+ minutes while they pack their bags or help with packaging up meals for the day. Delivery routes are approximately 2 hours long. When you return from your route, you will clean out your bags and get ready for the next day. A typical shift is 2.5 to 3 hours long. You must have a valid drivers license, a good driving record and a reliable vehicle. Driving and criminal record checks are performed.
