At Farmgirl Flowers, weâre building more than just bouquetsâweâre building something that lasts. Our Gig Harbor farm is growing fast (literally and figuratively!), and weâre looking for a hands-on, hard-working team member who isnât afraid to roll up their sleeves and jump into whatever project needs doing. From tending to our flower crops to fixing a leaky faucet, every task helps us keep the farm and our operations thriving.
The Role
Weâre looking for a Farm Operations Crew Member to help keep our farm and facilities in tip-top shape. This is a role for someone who loves variety, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in a job well done. Your days could include:
Landscaping & Grounds: mowing, planting, brush clearing, weed control, irrigation maintenance
Farm Support: helping with flower crop care, soil prep, harvesting, and general upkeep
Building Projects: assisting with drywall, concrete, painting, and general carpentry
Facilities Maintenance: general maintenance and repair work around the farm buildings
Special Projects: anything from setting up fences to moving heavy equipment and everything in between
What Weâre Looking For
Hands-on experience in general labor, construction, farming, or landscaping (bonus if youâve dabbled in more than one!)
Ability to safely use tools, machinery, and equipment (weâll train you on our farm-specific ones)
Comfortable working outdoors in all kinds of weather (rainy Pacific Northwest days included)
Physically able to lift 50+ lbs, dig, bend, and be on your feet most of the day
A self-starter who takes pride in their work
Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
