ISM Management Company, LLC manages several apartment communities throughout Chico, including several properties near CSUC and the College area and has immediate openings for a full-time Leasing Consultant, at our professionally managed apartment communities in Chico, CA. This position will report to the Property Manager & Regional Supervisor. This full-time position entails a variety of duties including greeting residents and prospects, answering phones, scheduling appointments touring prospective residents through apartments and houses, prospect follow up, processing applications, data entry, resident retention. Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license and current proof of auto insurance is required. Must be able to use own vehicle to transport self to different property sites. Weekend and overtime availability are required during the summer months. Candidates must place an emphasis on teamwork, problem solving, and attention to detail, all while maintaining a high level of quality customer service, professionalism and time management to ensure daily maximum productivity. Additional duties or job functions that can be performed safely may be required as deemed necessary by supervisory personnel. • Responsible for ensuring target apartments are ready for showing; responsible for maintaining work areas and office in a clean and orderly manner; need to have an awareness of the “curb appeal” of the property. • Completes lease forms or agreements, and collect rental deposits. • Responsible for the proper maintenance of all resident and property files. • Thorough knowledge of lease terms, specifications and all property policies. • Fully informed of current rental rates, sizes, locations and all amenities of property. • Knowledgeable of required telephone and sales techniques. • Develop full knowledge of application information required, screening processes, and policies regarding rentals. • Maintain the on-going resident retention program under the direction of the property manager. • Achieving occupancy goals for each property utilizing various marketing methods and programs • Responsible for maintaining effective tenant relations practices. • Responsible for the thorough knowledge, implementation and enforcement of all policies and procedures of ISM Management Company. • Responsible for scheduling work orders and working with the Property Manager and Maintenance personnel. • Responsible for the efficient and timely reporting, maintenance and submission of all administrative forms, files and weekly reports. • Responsible for implementing and maintaining a resident retention program with direction of the Property Manager. • Responsible for ensuring a professional appearance and attitude at all times for yourself and all property employees. • Responsible for reporting any unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding residents or the property. Required to report all property damage to upper management immediately. • Responsible for following company policies and procedures. *While performing this job, the employee is required to walk frequently and regularly, climb stairs and be exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. The employee is required to type. *All employees may be required to use their personnel vehicle for work-related efforts.

We are looking for someone long term to join the team. This position is currently part time, but could potentially be full-time eventually. The duties of this position will involve both property management and leasing duties combined. Leasing Agent · Present properties to prospective tenants with a customer service mindset.
