Established Pierce County Defense Law Firm has an opening for Attorney with 2-5 years of experience to complement and assist with successful misdemeanor practices. This opportunity will allow an attorney to refine their skills with negotiating with prosecutors, preparing and arguing motion all the way through trial. The attorney will be given a base salary of $130,000-150,000 annually DOE. The firm provides 401K, paid vacation, medical and dental insurance. Attorneys will be required to manage approximately 30 active misdemeanor cases. The support team will handle all the paperwork, opening files and filing documents. This will allow the attorney to dedicate their time to case strategy, client advocacy and courtroom work. Qualifications: 1. Active Member of WSBA. 2. 2-5 Years experience handling criminal cases with a demonstrated ability to take cases to trial when necessary. 3. Working knowledge of Washington Criminal Court procedures, rules of evidence and effective motion practice. 4. Excellent oral advocacy skills 5. Exceptional client communication skills 6.
