National Star Services is a 27-year-old facility management company providing different services all nationwide and we are now in search of a Warehouse / Delivery Helper for our location in San Antonio, TX 78218.   Job Responsibilities: (No Driving and No Installations needed) - Stock cargo according to codes inside the warehouse. - Load/unload home appliances into trucks with a dolly. - Accompany drivers for delivery to customer houses, apartments, or businesses when necessary. - Help driver carefully take the appliances inside customer's residency.   Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00A.M. Until the job is done (Will work between 35-45 hrs. per week)   Starting Hourly Pay Rate: Regular: $13.00/Hr. ***Biweekly pay***   Requirements: - Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States. - Have two valid updated forms of ID. - Being bilingual is a plus (English & Spanish speaker) - Be able to handle large home appliances with a dolly. - Background Check and Drug Test will be conducted. - Have and wear Steel toe boots at work required for safety. - Have reliable transportation to get to work on time. - Must be able to start working as soon as possible. Distribution Center Supervisor, 2nd Shift
Position Summary: The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the warehouse processes are performed correctly and accurately by creating and implementing procedures, delivery employee training and monitoring key metrics. The Warehouse Supervisor is the subject matter expert on all technical and IT systems within the warehouse and is also responsible for ensuring OSHA compliance. He/she manages the Pick/Pack/Shippers, oversees the receiving, stocking, and shipping operations and ensures that cycle counts are performed on time and accurately. This is a hands-on management position.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities: ●       Mentors and coaches associates, insisting on the highest standards for production, quality, safety, and conduct. ●       Ensures that the fulfillment team employees are adhering to warehouse  policies and procedures ●       Monitors metrics to ensure that the fulfillment team is meeting established standards for production, quality,  and safety. ●       Ensures that all purchase orders are received within 48 hours and put away in the proper bins. ●       Ensures that cycle counts are performed on time and accurately. ●       Is responsible for the downstacking and the organization of all Inventory. ●       Works closely with Customer Service to ensure that returns are processed in a timely manner and shipped back to the vendor ●       Ensures that warehouse processes adhere to all military labeling requirements, warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements ●       Performs pick, pack, and ship operations utilizing best carrier and consolidating orders, as necessary ●       Ensures that all associates maintain training and certifications in Hazmat and Forklift Operations. ●       Maintains OSHA certifications and safe working conditions ●       Other job duties as required, defined by Warehouse Supervisor and/or GM   Experience, Education, Certifications: ●       Associates Degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of experience and education ●       3-4 years of previous warehouse or general labor experience preferred ●       Valid and current forklift certification is a plus ●       Hazmat certification is a plus ●       Train the Trainer Certifications on Hazmat and Forklift Operations is a plus Competencies: ●       Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills ●       Knowledge of materials, warehouse processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective distribution of goods ●       Strong leadership, organizational and time management skills. ●       Ability to work independently in a team-oriented environment ●       Ability to manage priorities and coordinate multiple projects while consistently meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. ●       Ability to collaborate with team members and individuals to identify, communicate, and provide process improvement solutions for the organization.  Computer Skills: Knowledge of ERP systems, RF Smart WMS, UPS WorldShip, Fed Ex Ship Manager and Endicia Dazzle are a plus.
