About the Role The Restaurant Host/Hostess will be responsible for controlling the flow of the restaurant through awareness of business needs/volumes, station assignments, breaks, etc. Position Responsibilities Maintain established company and departmental uniform, appearance, and hygiene standards at all times Maintain a clean and organized work station at all times. Side work duties must be completed as assigned and also completed in an efficient, accurate, and timely manner Answering phones according to established standards Booking of reservations utilizing the company reservation system Assist with station assignments, rotation planning, and opening/closing/securing the room at shift change or according to established hours of operation, etc. Awareness of all activities in the dining room Knowledge of safety/guest liability procedures for guests and employees Use of radios with headsets and earpieces for communication may be utilized in designated outlets. Proper telephone etiquette is mandatory. Essential Functions Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environment Shift assignments may be irregular, and will cover days, nights, weekends and holidays Ability to multi-task including but not limited to answering the phone, greeting guests, rearranging reservations, etc. Requirements Ability to effectively communicate in English High school diploma or equivalent GED is preferred Must have a minimum of six months’ experience as a host/hostess in a high volume and/or fine dining environment. Ability to work in a high pressure environment Benefits Free meal on shift Training & Development Free onsite garage parking Pay rate:$20.50 /hr

About the Role The Food Runner is responsible for delivering food orders from the kitchen to customers’ tables rapidly and accurately. Position Responsibilities Delivers completed cuisine to designated tables Supports wait staff by assisting them with delivery of food and retrieval of any supplies they may require Serves all customers according to established standards of quality Have knowledge of appropriate garnishes and sauces for each plate. Have full knowledge of table numbers, seat numbers and sections of the restaurant. Perform final quality check of all plates before delivery. Deliver all food items to the correct table in a timely manner. Know pivot points and seat numbers to deliver food without “auctioning” food. Provide guests with any items they request to complete their meal. Communicate with service staff/management any requests you cannot provide. Communicate with kitchen/management regarding any food related issues brought to your attention by the guest. Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned Essential Functions Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise and hectic environments. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
