Job Responsibilities: 1. Complete various testing tasks in the R&D center and collect testing data; 2. Complete sample testing of company raw materials and compare them with the qualified data requirements of the company; 3. Cooperate with superiors to analyze test results and provide reference suggestions 4. Participate in the development, validation, and execution of testing methods for relevant products; 5. Assist in preserving all test records, reports, and other process technical documents, etc; 6. Participate in the formulation and implementation of experimental plans related to the project, and complete experimental tasks on time; 7. Complete the maintenance and upkeep of the instruments and equipment under your jurisdiction; 8. Complete daily hygiene and cleaning of the assigned area, and comply with the management requirements of 5S management; 9. Comply with relevant national and company safety production laws and regulations, and conscientiously implement various management requirements; 10. Complete other work tasks assigned by the leader. Under broad supervision, the QA Tester/Analyst will drive the overall QA planning/tracking and reporting for project(s), as well as execution of test lifecycle deliverables per standard methodology and procedures to ensure successful Test Strategy/plan implementation for the Georgia Dept. of Transportation (GDOT). While the intent may be a long-term tenure, this position is subject to annual budget restrictions. The initial contract is through the end of this fiscal year and is anticipated to be renewed July 1st.  Duties/Responsibilities: • Experience in testing Custom applications. • Experience in testing GIS components. • Actively interact with various teams. • Create and document test plans, Test Scenarios, test cases , execute tests, analyze results, and report problems and anomalies, all via the                lens of business end users • Operate in Agile approach to support testing needs. • Ensure Testcases are properly formulated, follow QA standards to ensure metrics are working. • Work closely and collaboratively with business partners, PMO and Vendor technical delivery teams to understand business requirements • Ensure software testing is done on-time and as planned and notify management about bottlenecks and other issues and risks • Assist Business subject matter experts and business analysts in the development of UAT test scenarios leveraging test cases • Participate in defect triage meetings and demos • Report weekly status to Quality Assurance Testing Lead Candidate Pay Range: $39.92- 43.00 per hr.  Visa: Permanent Resident (aka Green Card) or US Citizen preferred Local Only - Hybrid Work Schedule     Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or similar      General Experience: • At least Three (3) years of experience with testing in software development projects. • Experience in mid-scale or large-scale system development projects (including using test automation, test strategy, developing and executing            test scripts and test plans) • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks. • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Able to review and analyze system specifications (e.g. System Requirements, Business Requirements, Design Documents, etc.) • Able to perform manual testing and/or automated testing using the supported tools. • Identify missing testcases, create new test cases and modify existing testcase for more completed accurate and efficient Test Coverage. • Experience in documenting Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTM) and confirming applications are ready for UAT • Experience in documenting Test Cases,  Test Results • Ability to prepare sample data for testing. • Skills in System testing, parallel/comparative testing, QA testing, performance and load testing, regression testing, security testing, business              continuity/disaster recovery testing, post-go-live testing/validation • Experience with mobile device testing is a plus. • Analytical mind and skills in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and issue isolation • Able to work with cross-functional teams to validate product quality throughout the development life cycle • Experience with GitHub, ServiceNow, TFS, JIRA   Specialized Experience: • Experience in STLC concepts and best practices. • Experience in running tests for application functions. • Experience with SDLC and agile methodologies. • Familiarity with defect management tools (TFS / JIRA) • Preferred to have experience with public sector.    Preferred training or software testing certifications such as: • International Software Testing Qualifications Board • Certified Test Engineer (CSTE) • Certified Associate in Software Testing (CAST)

This individual will join the New Product Introduction Team and work across hardware, software, and R&D teams to develop and execute test plans, set up and interface with test equipment, and automate pilot line test processes. A strong candidate will have hands-on experience with test automation, scripting, hardware validation, and embedded system testing in a Linux-based environment. Support board bring-up and debugging efforts, providing feedback to design teams. Develop and maintain an automated test platform using Python. Operate and interface with a range of electrical and optical lab test equipment. Process and visualize test data, leveraging scripting and analysis tools to extract meaningful insights. Work within Git-based software development workflows to track, version, and collaborate on test software. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of relevant industry experience with a focus on hardware validation and system integration testing. Strong programming skills in Python and other scripting languages. Familiar with at least one compiled language (C/C++/Rust). Hands-on experience with optical and electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes, DMMs, OSAs, and VNAs. Strong understanding of communication protocols (USB, I2C, SPI, serial comms, etc.). Ability to process, analyze, and visualize test data to drive design decisions and improvements. Comfortable working in Linux environments with command-line tools for scripting and automation. Collaborate with a cross-functional team to support product development from prototype to production Experience with Git and modern software development workflows. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in root cause analysis and debugging embedded systems. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Master’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in hardware test and validation. Experience with firmware integration, embedded system validation, and debugging. Experience with environmental reliability testing and compliance validation. Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards relevant to test and validation processes. Prior experience working with atomic, optical, or quantum technologies. Ability to travel to support remote test integration and commissioning as required.
