Gorgeous, clean, artist’s paradise walking distance to the beach, Retro Row, and 2nd Street, gas stations, restaurants, grocery stores, & major bus lines. This is for the gigantic comfy couch in the shared living room space, which folds out to a full bed. There is a privacy curtain for changing, but please understand this is not a private room. The living room is a shared space — it contains the only entrance/exit and the dining table, which the owner still uses. About the space: Fully furnished with a large couch/bed, incredibly comfy recliner, and big-screen TV with Netflix, Plex, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and internet. Easy, free street parking. Access to the chef/owner’s kitchen and bathroom. Robot vacuum + Alexa smart devices. Small hall closet and four drawers for your personal items. Owner has a medium-sized service dog. About the household: This is a spiritual home and also the headquarters of a nonprofit organization. It is an alcohol-free space. Someone not aligned with that higher vibration will not be comfortable or happy here. Owner works from home full-time, so the ideal renter spends most of their time working or otherwise out of the house. Must be fully employed. Must be a very deep sleeper — as the couch is in the shared space — and comfortable with late-night comings and goings. The perfect renter is tidy, helps with household chores, and has minimal belongings (limited storage). LGBTQ+ and 420 friendly. Must love dogs. What works best here: A musician, artist, or creative soul who values a peaceful, alcohol-free home. Someone new to town, between housing, or restarting life. Rent details: Couch/bed in shared space. Renter responsible for half of electric and internet. (Approx $50/mo) This is a place to refocus, re-align, and save money while being part of a supportive, creative community.
