SharePack It Up Moving is hiring individuals for a Driver position. Individuals with a decent driving record and valid drivers license are great candidates for the driving positions. If you have moving/Driving experience then these wages are subject to change. Currently, THESE POSITIONS ARE PART-TIME. This is not a Gig to make a few dollars for a day or two. You will go through the entire hiring process BEFORE working. A trial shift used as a working interview may be conducted to determine if you are a good fit. Driver/Foreman Job Description • Operate Company vehicles under 26,000 GVW to transport household goods to and from specified destinations • Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes to ensure the vehicle is working properly • Obey traffic laws and follow traffic and transportation procedures • Prepare and explain bill of lading to the customer. • Delegate tasks to the crew members as well as overseeing their work • Provide outstanding customer service during pickup and delivery operations • Help prepare and pack customers items to prevent damage • Assist with dismantling and re-assembly of items using common hand tools • Load and arrange furniture items in the truck at arrival location • Unload customer items from moving truck at the destination and place them in the location the customer requests • Take Inventory of customers items to inspect for damage and to keep track of customers belongings • Handle customer requests and provide information about concerns • Perform cleaning of the moving truck Helpers will assist drivers in carrying out above duties.
