Hybrid Driver/Warehousing Position **LOCAL & YEAR-ROUND** (Thousand Palms)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Hybrid Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting refrigerated food products and materials safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while providing excellent customer service, as well as working in our refrigerated Warehouse. This role requires a strong understanding of route driving, safe food handling, and the ability to handle various driving & warehousing tasks. • Monday through Friday workweek, 4:00AM & 9:00AM start time, with occasional weekends (after training concludes) • Position is Full Time with occasional overtime (appx. 2-6 OT hours per week) • Professional appearance & grooming is required • Deliveries will be performed locally (Coachella Valley), as well as in the surrounding counties (Riverside, San Bernardino, Orange, L.A.) Duties • Operate company vehicles, including refrigerated extended length cargo vans & medium duty truck, to transport refrigerated food product to designated locations. • Execute route driving efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. • Load and unload items using a hand truck and ensure proper handling of materials. • Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients. Includes collecting payments. • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle inspections. • Conduct routine maintenance checks on the vehicle to ensure safety and reliability. • Upon delivery, rotate products into customers’ walk-in cooler or deli case. Ensure products are put under refrigeration immediately. Make sure the refrigeration is between 30-40 degrees • Working in our walk-in cooler (refrigerated environment) to pull, process & box customer orders for delivery • Off-load weekly delivery to Warehouse • Ensure walk in cooler and back storage area clean and organized, with the correct BIN numbers, and product is properly rotated . Qualifications • High School diploma or GED • Proven, verifiable experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role – Min. 3 years experience • CDL is a PLUS but not required • Familiarity with D.O.T. regulations and safety standards. • Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction. • Ability to navigate using GPS and map systems effectively. • Physical capability to lift heavy items and perform manual tasks as required. • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is MANDATORY. - No prior Moving Violations, DUI’s, etc. - MVR will be run to ensure insurance eligibility - Must be at least 25 years old + • Reliable transportation to & from work - Absenteeism & Lateness will not be tolerated • Must successfully pass Pre-Employment Drug Screening Compensation & Benefits • Hourly compensation based on experience • Comprehensive Medical/Dental plan available after 90-day Introductory period • 401-K Program with Company contribution after first year • Paid Vacation & Sick time • Full Time, year-round schedule (Summer months included) Join our team as a Hybrid Driver, where you will play a crucial role in delivering quality service while ensuring the safe transportation of goods.
