Delivery Driver/Floral Design Studio Support (menlo park)

Floral design company in need of a part time Delivery Driver/Floral Design Studio support person. Full-service floral design studio, serving the Silicon Valley area. Providing weekly services for corporate clients, events and weddings, as well as providing local services to valued private clients for their homes. We love what we do and work hard to create an upbeat work environment that supports it’s employees while striving to provide the highest level of service to our clients. THE JOB: -- Deliver and install floral arrangements in corporate offices, private homes and events. You will be the face of the company for many of our clients therefore, you must be personable, professional and engaging. This is NOT a “drop off and run” kind of service. Seeing clients, engaging with them, and installing arrangements in their spaces with care and intention and ensuring their satisfaction is a huge part of this role. -- While in the studio you will be expected to help maintain cleanliness and organization. Tasks include: sweeping, cleaning vases, prepping flowers, prepping vases for design, inventory and restocking, as well as maintaining our delivery van. A strong work ethic is required. There is a lot of opportunities to grow with the company. The hours which are needed is as follows: Monday-Friday 9am-3pm (hours may vary depending on demand, some weekends required) You may be asked for additional hours if needed for an event or delivery. We have our own van and gas is paid for. You don’t have to drive your car. Trial/training wages: $20.00/hr to start. REQUIREMENTS: -- Must have strong interpersonal skills. This position is ideal for a “people person”. A positive attitude and friendly demeanor are required. -- Must have a strong work ethic. You should be happy to jump in to help when/wherever needed. -- Must have a presentable appearance. -- Be reliable and prompt. We are a deadline driven business. Early is on time. On time is late.
