Position Summary The Product Quality Engineering team at OrganOx is a technical quality engineering team responsible for monitoring, understanding, and improving product performance of the OrganOx Metra, a Class III medical device. The Product Quality Engineering team works closely with Product Sustaining Engineering and Contracted Suppliers to set in place quality control and management processes for externally built products and componentry, including sterilization and microbiology, supplier management, and contract manufacturing processes. The Product Quality Engineer will have strong hands-on technical skills with an ability to analyze product quality issues and work cross-functionally to solve problems related to product quality. The successful candidate is collaborative, has excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and is passionate about delivering world-class products that make healthcare more accessible, simpler, and safer. Major Responsibilities Under direction from the Senior Product Quality Engineer and Senior Manager, Product Quality Engineering, the Product Quality Engineer may be responsible for the following: Lead root-cause investigations in response to customer complaints Support hands-on analyses of returned products to identify root causes of failures ·       Support development of investigation criteria and test methods to properly diagnose and root cause field failures   Analyze and trend on product performance data to provide recommendations for product improvements Raise Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCARs) in response to product performance trends. Support timely closure of SCARs. Work cross-functionally with other engineering teams and contracted suppliers to implement changes in manufacturing and inspection procedures to mitigate field failures. Maintain good working relationships with suppliers to support root cause investigation and failure mitigation efforts ·       Support CAPAs, Escalations, and engineering investigations in response to field quality issues. Participate in the development and review of engineering change orders that impact product quality activities Perform DHR, Service History record, and PFMEA reviews in support of complaint investigations. Join JC Grounds Management, a leading snow removal contractor, as a Salt Truck Operator (STO) for the upcoming winter season.  As a salt truck operator at JC Grounds Management, you will receive training on equipment safety, operation, path of motion, and product application.  Our fleet of application vehicles do not require a CDL license to operate however you must be comfortable operating a large truck during adverse weather conditions.  Most of the shifts occur between 6pm and 8am but can/will extend to anytime of the day especially following a winter event.  Salt truck operators need to be on-time and have a clean driving record.  They will also need to load their truck with material using a skid steer (training to be provided if necessary).  We are currently looking for operators to service routes dispatched from Chelmsford, Lowell, Billerica, Tewksbury, Wilmington areas. Recommend approvals or rejections of materials and workmanship as appropriate; monitor labor and safety requirements; complete written inspection reports, records of defects; and omissions; and similar activities. Responsible for quality assurance of the overall project, including evaluating workmanship, quality of work, and inspecting work per construction documents (drawings/specifications). Establish detailed inspection requirements, schedules and controls methods under a QC procedure. Inspects work done to ensure that it is in accordance with specifications and drawings. Report labor standards interviews for compliance with Davis-Bacon Act findings to the AOC COTR for action. Monitor all construction activities scheduled with emphasis on milestones, phasing/sequencing, completion date, submittals, efficient and balanced work flow, major tests, and any unique requirements needing special scheduling or tracking. Informs the COTR/CM on the progress of construction work and any activities that impact AOC and or contract completion date. Provide site photos to be uploaded daily into the AOC’s photo management software. Prepare information for the AOC weekly Project Report, reviews Final Report. Inspect work done to ensure that it is in accordance with specifications and drawings. Monitor and inspect the GC's compliance with current safety regulations, standards, the Project Safety Plan, and report any noncompliance to the COR/PM/CM. Immediately notify the Government when any life-threatening conditions are observed and provide assistance as necessary to remedy such situations. Prepare any Accident and Incident Reports as instructed by the COR/PM/CM. Complete daily reports of construction activities in PMIS software daily. Coordinate with AOC Testing Service Contractor(s). The AOC may hire independent testing agencies to inspect the Work performed by the GC. The Contractor is responsible for coordinating and arranging site visits between the testing agencies and the GC. The testing agencies will file all Field Reports with the Government. The Contractor is responsible for maintaining all reports on the project site and coordinates with the COR/PM/CM to verify that the GC corrects deficient work.
