Class-A CDL Driving Position (full time, year round) (North Andover)
*Class A CDL Driver/Livefloor Experienced Preferred*
Immediate openings for CDL Class A drivers with clean driving record and minimum of one year driving experience. The ideal candidates should have experience as a Class A CDL Driver, CDL Truck Driver, Delivery Driver, or Truck Driver with Route Experience. Livefloor or dump trailer experience preferred but not mandatory. Our company has a fleet of modern, well maintained vehicles. Non-seasonal employment up to 60+ hours per week. Travel is within 250 mile radius of Boston. Candidates must be in good physical condition, capable of tarping/un-tarping loads, have a current DOT physical card, be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening test, work history verification, driving record review.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES:*
1. Cover and uncover loads. Must be able to climb ladder.
2. Physical capability of lifting in excess 100 lbs.
3. Operate vehicle in accordance with state and federal laws.
4. Be proficient with paperwork.
5. Perform miscellaneous mechanical duties (check fluids, tire pressure, etc. report mechanical issues to maintenance)
6. Geographic knowledge of the New England area.
7. Communicate with dispatch, customers and co-workers.
8. Maintain professional manner at all times.
