Would you like a change of pace and some variety in your driving job? We are a high end commercial horse transport and flatbed company. We run horses throughout the continental U.S. and Canada. We run flatbed mostly in the Midwest based out of Omaha/Des Moines. We are looking for an experienced flatbed driver to help grow our small company that would be willing and able to step in as a co-driver for the horse transport when needed. Horse experience is not required for the position but is a great attribute. Flatbed experience IS required, and must be physically able to tarp regularly. We serve high-end clients in the horse transport and you must be professional, well-groomed and well-mannered. No shorts, no sandals, no cut oﬀ sleeves. Pay for flatbed is percentage base with tarp pay, and flat day rate for horse transport. Must be responsible, self motivated, and flexible. Passport a plus but not required at time of hiring. Home time is flexible, get home during the week and/or weekends. No forced dispatch for flatbed. Horse transport is usually on a tight schedule and may be away from home up to 2 weeks for big trips (only 1-2 times/year) Manual labor required for horse transport including filling and emptying hay bags, cleaning and filling water buckets, cleaning and bedding trailer. 379/389 Peterbilts with 13/18 speed transmissions must be able to run and operate smoothly.
