2006 Ridgeline - Mechanic Special - $1,000

Anybody want to fix this thing before I scrap it? Still trying to diagnose the engine issue, but it is looking like something big like a seized rod... it is misfiring on multiple cylinders. I just put $2k into into the engine and it was running the best it ever has, and then less than a 1000 miles later driving on the highway it just starts making all kinds of sounds and ground to a halt within a mile of the issue starting. I'm done with it and was already considering going back to just one car. I hope my need to just be done with it will benefit someone else. The title is salvage, from a silly incident with parking lot bollard at very low speed. Damage was fixed like it wasn't there, title rebuilt, and then I hit a mailbox and scraped the other side. So there is some cosmetic damage there, some rust, but about the only cosmetic issue. The truck is well kept, newish nitto AT tires, weather tech matts, and a ton of maintenance done... engine issues only. Could maybe use some new front struts sometime in the future. I was really trying to take care of this car and keep the maintenance up as a work commuter. The hidden trunk under the bed is fabulous for anyone in construction, and the 4wd works well. It has several thousand dollars of construction racks currently on it that I plan to remove before the sale to recoup some cost. You are welcome to buy them from me before I remove them.
