Read and interpret blueprints. Assemble, fabricate, install, test ship piping systems, and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment, according to specifications, by welding, brazing, cementing, soldering, and threading joints. Work may be on new construction or in ship repair. Requirements Must have a minimum of 5 years of marine pipefitting experience. Must have silver brazing experience: Braze Copper Nickel, Carbon , Copper/Copper Solid understanding of shipbuilding and/or manufacturing processes. Need to be able to work with different piping systems. Must be able to pass 1st Class Pipe Fitter Written and Physical Assessments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to read blueprints. Comprehensive understanding of Fire Sprinkler Design principles, including Wet, Dry, Preaction, and Deluge systems. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
