Your day-to-day would involve: Operating multi-axis CNC machine tools. Inspection of completed operations using CMM's, optical vision systems, and manual gauges & tooling. The Opportunity We are hiring a General Manager to take day-to-day responsibility for sales growth, marketing, operations, and team leadership. The GM will report directly to ownership and will play a key role in setting the company’s strategic direction. Key Responsibilities Sales & Marketing (Primary Focus) Drive revenue growth through direct sales, distribution channels, and strategic partnerships. Develop and execute marketing plans to expand brand recognition and market penetration. Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, architects, builders, and contractors. Negotiate major sales contracts and pricing strategies. Strategic Leadership Work with ownership to define and execute business growth strategies. Identify new product opportunities, geographic markets, and customer segments. Monitor industry trends and competitive activity; adjust strategy as needed. Operations Management Oversee quarry and plant production, including equipment, safety, and compliance. Manage and develop staff across quarrying, processing, administrative, and logistics functions. This includes obtaining and managing a team of >70 H2B visa seasonal employees across several quarry locations. Ensure operational efficiency, cost control, and high product quality. Lead a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Financial & Administrative Develop and manage budgets, forecasting, cash flow, payroll, and P&L accountability. Maintain company records confidentially, accurately, and securely. Reduce company risk by building competitive and comprehensive insurance and risk management plans. Track performance metrics and report results to ownership. Support HR needs including hiring, training, and performance management. Public Relations, Contracts, Mining Rights, and Permitting Act as the company liaison for safety, regulatory, and permitting requirements, such as those enforced by the BLM and MSHA. Develop leases and contracts for land and quarry claims, and build and maintain relationships with stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, or related field (MBA a plus). 3–5+ years of management experience, ideally in building materials, quarrying, aggregates, or related industrial sectors. Proven success in sales and marketing leadership with measurable revenue growth results. Strong strategic thinking, analystical, computer, and business development skills. Ability to balance big-picture vision with hands-on operational oversight. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment where initiative and adaptability are essential. Compensation & Benefits Base Salary: $110,000 and up, depending on qualifications. SUMMARY: Receives raw materials from railroad cars and delivers material in proper mixtures to hoppers in the storage area. Regrinds faulty product for re-use as raw materials. Ensures proper mixture of new and reground material. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following: • Achieves daily quota for production. • Cleans surfaces and machines located in the Raw Materials Department. • Transfers raw materials from transportation containers through mechanical receiving systems to hoppers, blenders or tumblers. Mixes, by formula, additional raw materials including pigments, reground material and chemical agents to achieve and transfer appropriate blended material for use in injection molding machines. • Writes hopper labels describing the weight of the material and the weight of pigment contained in the material. • Operates the regrind machine to grind rejected products into raw material and operates the metal detector on the material to ensure it is clean and ready for reuse. • Reads production schedule to determine amounts of virgin and reground material that is needed to meet the production plan. • Performs minor maintenance on machines. Requirements Previous manufacturing experience preferred. Effectively communicate in both written and oral forms. Read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and memos. Write simple correspondence. Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization. Calculate amounts in percentages and fractions, including multiplication and division of fractions. Apply concepts of basic algebra. Basic knowledge of the metric system. Operate major equipment for the manufacturing and in-house transportation of dietary supplements and raw ingredients. Communicate well with colleagues and management to ensure a smooth and effective production process. Ensure all safety protocols are followed, and equipment and facilities are operated safely and correctly. Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent Must have a positive, willing attitude and work well within a group. Must have the ability to stoop, bend and safely lift reasonable amounts of weight, and spend significant portions of your workday on your feet. Must be able to work a regular 40-hour week with scheduled overtime, including some evening/weekend shifts.
