We are currently in search of a reliable and motivated Forklift Operator to join our growing team in our Distribution Center located in Jacksonville! Your responsibility is to accurately and quickly service a very fast paced client base while maintaining the highest quality and safety in the industry. We are looking for a successful candidate that will possess knowledge and skill in FIFO principals, as well as RF scanning equipment and be prepared to meet any challenge. This position will pay $22.90/hour and work 9:00am- 5:30pm Monday through Friday. Job Summary Operate forklift equipment, cherry pickers, high reach equipment safely and effectively; maintain equipment and report malfunctions. Perform warehouse duties including receiving and locating product within the RF scanner technology. Accurately pick, stack, wrap and stage outbound freight ensuring that warehouse goals are met. Implement work in the prescribed sequence so deliver-by-date is met. Work proficiently to meet Productivity, Quality and Safety targets. Load/unload trucks. Maintain a strict housekeeping standards in accordance with 5S protocols. Report unsafe work conditions/environment in a timely basis. Cycle Counts & Stock Replenishment. Requirements High school degree or equivalent. Proven work experience safely operating forklifts, cherry picker and high reach equipment. Meet daily timelines and work in an environment, where assignments and work priorities are reviewed several times a day. Ability to use RF technology. Comfortable using a harness and line yard, as well as comfortable with heights Previous experience working in a warehouse preferred. Solid work history/tenure vs. job hopping is required. Good interpersonal skills; work well as a team but be self-motivated and independent at times. Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly; ability to stand on your feet for the duration of the shift. Able to read and write in English. Steel toed shoes/boots are required. Successful completion of a drug screen, physical, and criminal background check. At Whiteline Express, you’ll keep our trucks and trailers running strong. You’ll handle diagnostics, maintenance, and full repairs on brakes, transmissions, rear-ends, clutches, diesel engines, electrical systems, and welding or fabrication work. You’ll remove, fix, reinstall, and adjust parts, inspect your work, and make sure everything meets safety rules and regulations. You need a valid driver’s license (CDL preferred or willing to get one) and the flexibility to work varied hours, including after-hours calls. What You’ll be doing as a Diesel Mechanic: Supervise shift mechanics by assigning tasks, verifying completed work, and assisting with training and disciplinary actions as needed. Authorize and oversee after-hours repairs in alignment with company policies and procedures. Manage parts inventory using TMT, including ordering, receiving, and tracking of parts and supplies. Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and full-service repairs on heavy-duty vehicles and trailers, including work on brakes, transmissions, rear-ends, clutches, diesel engines, electrical systems, and welding/fabrication tasks. Remove, repair, reinstall, and adjust vehicle components; conduct thorough final inspections to ensure all repairs meet federal and state safety regulations. Complete detailed work orders and maintain accurate maintenance and repair records. Respond to on-site service calls and provide support as needed. Collaborate with technicians and provide guidance on complex repairs and troubleshooting. Open and close the maintenance facility, ensuring readiness and security of operations. Diesel Mechanic Required Qualifications: Proven experience as a diesel mechanic; supervisory or lead technician experience preferred. Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair software (experience with TMT a plus). Strong mechanical, electrical, and welding skills. Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
