Perform fabrication, assembly, and packaging operations. Principal Responsibilities Fabricate fittings to customer specifications using customized fabricating equipment, hand, power tools, adhesives, and fixtures. Obtain components from stock/production. Set-up equipment to match product requirements. Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment and demonstrate good communication skills. Inspect completed parts. Prepare parts for shipping by placing them in boxes or on pallets. Correctly label all parts and boxes as needed. Visually inspect all incoming pipes, components, and gaskets for defects. Apply 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles. Maintains a safe working environment by following Health, Safety and Environmental Policies and attending training that is provided where required. Maintains a respectful working environment by following Human Resource Policies and attending mandatory training when required. Assist in the coordination, preparation, and execution of year-end inventory. Key Responsibilities Production, Processing and Manufacturing Oversight • Lead and manage thermal spray production operations to ensure timely delivery, consistent quality, and cost efficiency. • Develop and maintain production schedules, resource allocation, and workflow optimization. Maintenance and Reliability • Supervise Thermal Spray operations facility and equipment maintenance to minimize downtime and extend asset life. • Implement preventative and predictive maintenance programs. Continuous Improvement & Quality • Work with quality management systems and corrective actions to reduce defects and rework. • Support standardizing processes, documentation, and best practices throughout thermal operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the milling CNC operations, ensuring the highest quality standards, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate the activities of the 2nd shift milling CNC team. Ensure that all milling CNC machines are set up, operated, and maintained according to company standards. Monitor production schedules and ensure that all deadlines are met. Verify conformance of workpieces to specifications using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and go-no-go gauges. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the milling process. Train and mentor team members on proper machine operation and safety procedures. Maintain accurate records of production, maintenance, and quality control. Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.   REQUIRED SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES: In-depth knowledge of CNC milling machines and operations. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
