Our Home is looking to grow our loyal and driven team and are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join our team of manufacturing professionals on first shift. Our QA Technician's typical schedule will work Monday - Friday 7AM - 3:30PM. The QA Tech will work closely with the shift supervisor and QA Supervisor to ensure all quality parameters are being met at all times. This position must maintain a consistent quality product by performing QA checks (moisture, breakage, Oxygen, Bag Seal integrity, date code and raw material verification, and other checks as requested by leadership) at the required intervals. Responsibilities Prepare shift reports as directed by the Quality Assurance Supervisor. Perform line inspections and raw material verifications prior to production beginning after a changeover or at the start of production for the week. Validate sanitation effectiveness and complete Post-OP or Pre-OP sanitation inspection report. Constantly inspect product as it is being produced to ensure it meets the benchmark standard and customer expectations and stop production immediately if out of tolerance deviation occurs. Verify all on line inspection sheets and production documents prior to and during production. Sign off on all changeover check sheets as quickly as possible to verify all details are correct or to minimize the amount of product to be put on hold. Place all out of specification products and/or raw materials on hold using an orange QC Hold tag. Conduct and report daily GMP audits and corrective measures on designated shift. Perform a walkthrough with the shift supervisor at least once per week. Assist in maintaining retained production samples for each product produced. As needed, assist with training of new employees and refresher training of existing employees in GMP, HACCP and other certifications as needed. As needed, assist with customer complaints investigations. As needed, assist with sample preparation and shipping. As needed, assist in keeping Process Sheets up to date with production notes and speeds. As needed, assist with required Quality Assurance reports. As needed, conduct taste tests to ensure production run matches previous runs/samples. As needed, assist with R/D tasks and production sample runs/trials and report. Requirements 1 - 2 years working in a production or food manufacturing facility Requires basic reading, writing and math skills.​ Ability to work in a manufacturing plant environment Must be able to move/lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work in a warm/humid environment Must be able to work off shifts and be flexible with scheduling. The Production Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations within their respective areas. They will be responsible for managing production schedules, ensuring product quality, optimizing workflow, and leading a production team to meet company goals efficiently and safely. This position reports to the Operations Manager. Key Responsibilities Enforce strict safety guidelines and ensure all required inspections are completed. Maintains product quality by ensuring Work Instructions and Procedures are up to date and followed. Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; resolving problems as they arise. Ensures proper operation of equipment balancing quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas. To have an active role in the company’s continuous improvement plan to achieve current plans and to ensure future growth of the company. Assist in accident investigations. Coordinate and control production schedule to ensure products are produced efficiently, on time, and within budget. Supervise and motivate production team, ensuring high levels of performance and morale. Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction initiatives. Train and develop production teams to enhance skills and performance. Work on the assembly line when required due to manning or capacity requirements. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Ability to lead, motivate, and supervise a diverse team effectively while working hands on. You are provided a WiFi/Cell Tablet to access company drawings, job details, punch items, and so on. Qualified techs are often provided a high roof van as a company vehicle. Because of the size of these homes, work is done one room at a time. The products are protective wrapped and delivered right to the room (see pics).
