We currently have an exciting opportunity as a Fabricator. This role is based in our facility in Janesville, WI and reports to the Plant Manager. The hours are Mo-Fri from 5.30am until 2pm. Perform fabrication, assembly, and packaging operations. Principal Responsibilities Fabricate fittings to customer specifications using customized fabricating equipment, hand, power tools, adhesives, and fixtures. Obtain components from stock/production. Set-up equipment to match product requirements. Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment and demonstrate good communication skills. Inspect completed parts. Prepare parts for shipping by placing them in boxes or on pallets. Correctly label all parts and boxes as needed. Visually inspect all incoming pipes, components, and gaskets for defects. Apply 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles. Maintains a safe working environment by following Health, Safety and Environmental Policies and attending training that is provided where required. Maintains a respectful working environment by following Human Resource Policies and attending mandatory training when required. Assist in the coordination, preparation, and execution of year-end inventory. Completing and maintaining reports for managers as required, which may include: Production reports Scrap reports Other duties may be assigned when applicable. Requirements Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred, however, full training will be provided Must be knowledgeable in basic math Detail oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Must be a self-starter with good interpersonal and verbal communication skills coupled with an eagerness to learn Good team player including with a demonstrated ability to chip in to and foster a positive team environment Working knowledge of Health and Safety practices is helpful. After training, should exhibit an understanding of various types and sizes of pipes. This includes obtaining and managing a team of >70 H2B visa seasonal employees across several quarry locations. Ensure operational efficiency, cost control, and high product quality. Lead a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Financial & Administrative Develop and manage budgets, forecasting, cash flow, payroll, and P&L accountability. Maintain company records confidentially, accurately, and securely. Reduce company risk by building competitive and comprehensive insurance and risk management plans. Track performance metrics and report results to ownership. Support HR needs including hiring, training, and performance management. Public Relations, Contracts, Mining Rights, and Permitting Act as the company liaison for safety, regulatory, and permitting requirements, such as those enforced by the BLM and MSHA. Develop leases and contracts for land and quarry claims, and build and maintain relationships with stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, or related field (MBA a plus). 3–5+ years of management experience, ideally in building materials, quarrying, aggregates, or related industrial sectors. Proven success in sales and marketing leadership with measurable revenue growth results. Strong strategic thinking, analystical, computer, and business development skills. Ability to balance big-picture vision with hands-on operational oversight. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment where initiative and adaptability are essential. Compensation & Benefits Base Salary: $110,000 and up, depending on qualifications. JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced 2nd Shift CNC Machinist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the milling CNC operations, ensuring the highest quality standards, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate the activities of the 2nd shift milling CNC team. Ensure that all milling CNC machines are set up, operated, and maintained according to company standards. Monitor production schedules and ensure that all deadlines are met. Verify conformance of workpieces to specifications using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and go-no-go gauges. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the milling process. Train and mentor team members on proper machine operation and safety procedures. Maintain accurate records of production, maintenance, and quality control. Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.   REQUIRED SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES: In-depth knowledge of CNC milling machines and operations.
