Working with minimal supervision, you will form and straighten Metal Aerospace Assemblies that are compliant with drawings, written specifications, customer requirements, etc. Requirements as follows: • Prefer to have understanding of basic Precision Measuring Tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, dial indicators, etc. • Prefer knowledge of interpreting Mechanical Drawings. • The ability to be self-motivated to keep work area clean and organized. • The ability to keep all associated paperwork and documents orderly. • Company may consider providing some training for exceptional candidates.  The ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance Relevant Past Work Experience: Applicants with Relevant Past Experience are encouraged to apply. • Past experience fabricating Sheet Metal Components; Cutting, Bending, Forming, Drilling, Riveting, etc. • May consider past experience from Automotive Body Repair Technicians and Dent Removal Technicians. JOB DUTIES: • Deburr precision aluminum parts and brazed assemblies. • Inspect parts to ensure compliance to drawing. SKILL REQUIREMENTS: • Ability to use hand tools such as files, counter sinks, burr knife sandpaper, buffing wheels, die grinders, jitterbug sanders and other hand tools as necessary. • Must be able to read and understand shop travelers and drawings. • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness. • Meets productivity standards and completes work in a timely manner.  Must be able to obtain a security clearance to perform all duties associated with this position. EXPERIENCE: • 1 year of Deburr experience is required. Display and wood cabinetry interior manufacturing company seeking motivated and responsible individual to perform shop duties, with primary responsibility to run our 3-axis CNC machine. Candidate must be flexible and have some experience in setting up and running a CNC router and cabinet making experience. Materials used will have a wide range; from MDF and plywood to plastics and aluminum. Candidate must: - Be able to read shop drawings - Understand CNC tooling and make necessary adjustments for proper cutting. - Have a basic understanding of Autocad (be able to pull measurements and create basic objects.) - Experience with Rhinoceros is a plus Duties will include programming with Enroute and other wood working shop duties as assigned.
