For more information, visit the company website at https://amprius.com/about/ Summary Amprius is seeking a skilled and reliable Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure efficient maintenance of our facilities and equipment. Further responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues, maintain a safe and clean working environment. This role will report to the Facilities Manager. This is a TEMP role with an opportunity to be converted to regular full-time. Job Responsibilities Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular checks on pump oil levels to ensure they are maintained within parameter, schedule maintenance if needed. Execute filter changes in accordance with predetermined schedules, ensuring proper air and fluid filtration throughout the facility. Perform proactive maintenance inspections to identify and address potential issues, ensuring that preventative measures are taken to minimize disruptions. Perform other maintenance activities on equipment and facilities as needed. Repairs and Troubleshooting: Swiftly respond to equipment breakdowns, efficiently troubleshoot problems, and perform necessary repairs to minimize operational downtime. Equipment Management: Establish and maintain an organized system for spare equipment, tools, and supplies, ensuring easy accessibility and an efficient workflow. Safety Compliance: Safely lift and maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds, facilitating equipment installation, demolition, relocation, and maintenance tasks. Adhere unwaveringly to safety protocols and maintain a clean and orderly work environment that adheres to company policies and regulations. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of maintenance supplies, replacement parts, and consumables, ensuring optimal availability for ongoing operations. Other Duties: Maintain records of maintenance activities, accurately documenting tasks performed, and replacement parts utilized. Ensure the facility premises are kept in safe and clean condition. Provide assistance to employees with minor repairs and requests. Requirements Education and Experience High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Basic understanding of electromechanical equipment   Required Skills/Abilities: Desire to own tasks and execute them. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and orderly work environment that adheres to company policies and regulations. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees, vendors, and contractors. Respectful and relatable to team members with a positive outlook. Basic Computer skills Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. Flexibility available with shift start time. Occasional evenings and weekends Physical Demands & Work Location: Fremont, CA: This is an on-site job. Reliable commute or planning to relocate before starting work is required. Must be able to lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds. Lift and/or carry objects weighing up to 20 pounds. Must have ability to stand, sit, squat, bend, kneel, twist, crawl, reach, lift, balance, push, and pull as required. May be required to use personal protective equipment (PPE) including, but not limited to, a lab coat, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, respirator and safety shoes, per company safety policy.
