Capstan Medical is looking for production sewers to work in our West Side Santa Cruz facility! Capstan Medical is in development of a heart valve replacement therapy. Producing the implants we use is done by hand, using a processes that consist of hand sewing on a microscopic scale. Duties include straight stitching using a needle holder, done under a microscope. Training may be provided if necessary! Essential skills are: -The ability to hand stitch using a needle holder (tweezers) -Comfortable using a microscope for long periods of time. -OK with repetitive motion. -Comfortable with working in a clean room environment -Good attitude, willing to learn, and work hard!! Candidates without experience may take a sewing test at our facility. Passing applicants without experience may start at $27/Hr. Applicants with med device experience may earn more.

Project Manager Cloacina LLC, a pre-packaged wastewater treatment plant manufacturer is currently looking for a Project Manager in Arroyo Grande, CA. JOB DUTIES: • Working with minimal supervision, you will set up and run FADAL and HAAS CNC 3 axis machines. • Perform self-inspection on parts. • Work with close tolerances less than .001. SKILL REQUIREMENTS: • Must be able to read and understand blueprints and engineering drawings. • Programming Pro E/Mastercam experience is not required but is a plus. • Shop math and inspection. • Requires experience with Haas machines. • Must have own tools.
