We’ve already got tens of thousands of happy users and companies using Fyxer AI. Now, we’re ramping up and building out our first New York sales team—and you’ll have a rare opportunity to build, own, and scale something at the ground floor. Fyxer AI launched in May 2024. We hit $1M in revenue across 3,000 paid users without spending a dollar on marketing. Then things really took off: We’ve grown from $1M to $15M in ARR in seven months Our first AEs closed over $400,000 in ARR in just months by expanding adoption We’re tracking for $50M ARR by the end of the year—and you’ll help drive it You’ll be one of our first 40 employees at a fast-growing Series A AI company, with a chance to shape our revenue, team, and the future of work. About the Role We’re looking for a strategic, hands-on SMB Sales Team Lead who’s ready to both drive deals and help others do the same. You’ll spend about half your time managing and coaching a group of Junior Account Executives, and the other half actively building your own pipeline and closing business. If you love developing talent but aren’t ready to step away from carrying a quota yourself, this could be a great next move. What You’ll Be Doing Managing and Coaching (50%) Guide the team’s inbound and outbound sales efforts—help them qualify leads quickly and run targeted outreach to new prospects Provide structured, hands-on coaching to help early-career reps hone their skills in discovery, qualification, and closing Set team goals and track performance, jumping in to help troubleshoot deals or unblock bottlenecks along the way Help onboard and train new hires, and work to constantly level up processes and playbooks so your team can focus on what matters: customer conversations and pipeline growth Carrying Your Own Quota (50%) Take ownership of your own sales pipeline—respond quickly to hot leads, run outbound campaigns, and close deals yourself Build relationships with SMB accounts, from first meeting through deal close Keep your CRM up to date, forecast accurately, and be accountable for reaching your targets Share feedback and ideas from your deals to keep refining how the whole team operates What You Bring 2–4 years of experience in a B2B sales role, with at least some experience mentoring or helping to onboard less-tenured reps (formal management experience isn’t required, but it’s a bonus) A proven record building and closing pipeline, ideally in a SaaS or tech environment selling into SMBs Comfortable jumping between helping others and hitting your own number—this role is for someone who loves both Great with sales process, tools, and data—experience with Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, or similar tools is a plus Sense of urgency, curiosity, and a genuine interest in helping customers and colleagues succeed Why This Role Matters SMBs are our biggest growth lever—and this team is at the heart of it. You’ll help shape how we engage this market and build the sales muscle we scale on! Early hires at Fyxer get unparalleled exposure, accelerated learning, and the autonomy to make real impact. Our Sales Philosophy We believe time spent with customers matters most. Our goal is to make every conversation high-leverage and give you the tools, data, and autonomy to focus on what moves the needle—whether that’s 1:1 coaching or driving new business. AI and automation power our workflows so you and your team can do what you do best: build relationships, understand needs, and close deals. Our Culture Our culture is intentional.
