Job Description: Entry level position. We offer training. *Report to the office every day *Perform plan take-offs, use software to measure and count mechanical system components to ensure accurate project price estimation. *Review project plans and specifications to include all necessary job scope details in project pricing. *Work with the Lead Estimator to prepare and submit project bids *Ability to interpret field drawings and keep project schedules in regard to drawing submittals *Potential site visits to obtain field information for use in shop and coordinate drawings, as-builts, etc.. *Build and create a CAD image library consisting of frequently used symbols and designs *Use and knowledge of drafting to execute BIM modeling and 3D modeling initiatives *Working knowledge of HVAC - AutoCAD software. Ability to compile drawings/designs consisting of piping systems, ductwork, HVAC, process, layouts, etc.. *Experience & Requirement: *Complete computer skills:; Microsoft Office-Word, Excel & Outlook *1 year HVAC experience *1 year of estimating (required) *Autodesk Revit experience (preferred) *Mechanical aptitude; ability to understand mechanical ductwork systems and drawings (preferred)

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Revit Drafter to support us with production work and help establish systems that streamline our project workflows. To apply, please send your resume. Responsibilities: - Produce accurate and detailed drawings in Revit for residential projects. - Support architects in developing construction documents, repeatable details, and production systems. - Assist with project onboarding, including setting up files, organizing details, and documenting processes. - Collaborate with architects to find design and drafting solutions for new projects. - Create and maintain spreadsheets, templates, and other resources to improve clarity for clients (e.g., fees, timelines, deliverables). - Participate in portfolio reviews and initial client meetings as needed. - Contribute to marketing efforts by preparing materials that showcase past and potential projects. Position Summary: Provide technical design, consultation, information and assistance to internal and external customers under direct supervision to insure that project complies with all engineering standards. The designer will work under the supervision of more senior engineers. Work will be completed in concert with the stated project requirements, all current codes, as well as Prime Electric Engineering Standards. Applicant will be responsible for designing, developing and producing permit and construction documents for electrical systems. Essential Job Functions: • Power Distribution, Signal and Lighting Design • Single line Diagrams and Panel Schedules • Lighting Fixture Selection and Schedules • Lighting Control Diagrams • Title 24 Compliance Calculations • Review shop drawings and specifications • Review, comment and process equipment and system submittals • Visit job sites for field investigations • Voltage drop, load and demand calculations • Coordination with other construction trades and disciplines • Back check of own work for accuracy and completeness before submission to others • Perform coordination between architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, process and all electrical trades • Coordinate work with the project specifications or equipment buy-out • Attend project design team meetings. Interface with various team members, particularly the client, architect, and mechanical contractor/engineer • Research and resolve drawing interpretation problems, conflicts, interferences, and errors • Perform other duties assigned by Director of Engineering Minimum Job Requirements: • Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering a plus • Minimum 2-Years of experience in electrical systems design a plus • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Word & Excel • Experience with Revit & Navis Manage a plus • Reasonable knowledge of the NEC as well as building codes and ordinances • Broad knowledge and experience with power and lighting design • Understanding of sustainable design and LEED Documentation a plus • Documents and archives work pursuant the Prime Electric standards
