Position Summary: Provide technical design, consultation, information and assistance to internal and external customers under direct supervision to insure that project complies with all engineering standards. The designer will work under the supervision of more senior engineers. Work will be completed in concert with the stated project requirements, all current codes, as well as Prime Electric Engineering Standards. Applicant will be responsible for designing, developing and producing permit and construction documents for electrical systems. Essential Job Functions: • Power Distribution, Signal and Lighting Design • Single line Diagrams and Panel Schedules • Lighting Fixture Selection and Schedules • Lighting Control Diagrams • Title 24 Compliance Calculations • Review shop drawings and specifications • Review, comment and process equipment and system submittals • Visit job sites for field investigations • Voltage drop, load and demand calculations • Coordination with other construction trades and disciplines • Back check of own work for accuracy and completeness before submission to others • Perform coordination between architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, process and all electrical trades • Coordinate work with the project specifications or equipment buy-out • Attend project design team meetings. Interface with various team members, particularly the client, architect, and mechanical contractor/engineer • Research and resolve drawing interpretation problems, conflicts, interferences, and errors • Perform other duties assigned by Director of Engineering Minimum Job Requirements: • Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering a plus • Minimum 2-Years of experience in electrical systems design a plus • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Word & Excel • Experience with Revit & Navis Manage a plus • Reasonable knowledge of the NEC as well as building codes and ordinances • Broad knowledge and experience with power and lighting design • Understanding of sustainable design and LEED Documentation a plus • Documents and archives work pursuant the Prime Electric standards

Summary: We are urgently seeking one Electrical/MEP Design Engineer with a minimum of six years of experience and a valid Professional Engineer (PE) License. to join our dynamic team. Must have experience in multi-story commercial, hotel, or mixed-use building design of electrical power systems, service room layout, site lighting & security, load calculations, Fire Alarm systems and lighting systems. Responsibilities/Duties: Familiarity with New York City Engineering design standards, codes, and industry standards of practice relevant to all aspects of Professional Engineering Design. Familiarity and understanding of Contract Documents for Engineering, and administration of same during the Construction Phase. This person will work with clients to design and prepare detailed drawings for new custom home and remodel projects using 3D architectural design software. POSITION SUMMARY: This person will prepare detailed drawings and plans of architectural and structural features for new custom home and remodel projects using REVIT. Interaction with clients in a sales capacity is also a key function of this job. QUALIFICATIONS: -Proficiency with REVIT or similar architectural design software. -Degree or equivalent, with formal architectural education required. -Prefer candidate with 5+ years of custom home design experience. -Prefer candidate with residential construction and building experience. -Background in construction drawings and design for design review and permit submittal. -Thorough understanding of design concepts as they pertain to residential building. -Valid Oregon Driver’s License and good driving record that meet insurance requirements.
