Must be dependable, mechanical, able to read dimensions and use a tape measure. The candidate must possess a positive and helpful attitude, be self-motivated, with knowledge in metal fabrication, manufacturing process understanding, experience with SolidWorks, Draft sight or similar computer programs preferred. Mechanical engineering experience preferred. We are looking for someone that can help us grow and improve. Ability to multitask and work on a range of projects. Strong initiative and able to work with minimal supervision. Good verbal and written communication skills. Mechanical aptitude. Basic use of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Mathematics and measurements skills. Job Description: Entry level position. We offer training. *Report to the office every day *Perform plan take-offs, use software to measure and count mechanical system components to ensure accurate project price estimation. *Review project plans and specifications to include all necessary job scope details in project pricing. *Work with the Lead Estimator to prepare and submit project bids *Ability to interpret field drawings and keep project schedules in regard to drawing submittals *Potential site visits to obtain field information for use in shop and coordinate drawings, as-builts, etc.. *Build and create a CAD image library consisting of frequently used symbols and designs *Use and knowledge of drafting to execute BIM modeling and 3D modeling initiatives *Working knowledge of HVAC - AutoCAD software.
